What Sets Us Apart

Our in-house lab, IMPROTEC, is one of the reasons we can offer unparalleled service in the Boston area. Working together, our doctors and master lab technicians employ the utmost combined expertise to achieve consistently outstanding results in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. We pride ourselves on extending customized treatment based on our genuine care for our patients.

Components of a Smile Makeover

A smile makeover is an individually tailored combination of two or more cosmetic dental procedures that has the power to give you a dazzling new smile. Discolored, gapped, chipped, or misshapen teeth and inconsistencies in shape or size can all be concealed with bonding, veneers, and crowns.

Bonding uses a composite resin material to hide minor cosmetic and structural imperfections in the teeth. Because it is not as strong as crowns or veneers, it is typically recommended for areas of low bite pressure, like the front teeth. Porcelain veneers use thin shells of medical-grade ceramic that the dentist bonds to the surface of the teeth to conceal imperfections, while crowns cover the entire surface and sides of the tooth down to the gums. Crowns are primarily a restorative treatment intended to support or replace a lost or damaged tooth, but they are crafted to look healthy and natural. Whitening can be used in combination with any of these procedures, and can be accomplished with an in-office treatment or custom take-home kit. Many patients prefer the look and function of a tooth-colored composite filling over a traditional metal filling. We can replace metal fillings with more natural-looking ceramic fillings, or with porcelain inlays or onlays, allowing any restorations to blend seamlessly with your smile.

Determining Your Candidacy

If you cannot achieve your aesthetic goals with just one treatment, a comprehensive smile makeover is an excellent option. Or, if you have been putting off cosmetic dental work and like the idea of an integrated approach, you may be an outstanding candidate for a smile makeover.

Smile Makeover Benefits

A rejuvenated smile can have a profound effect on your self-esteem and quality of life. Thanks to the expertise of our certified prosthodontists and the advantage of our in-house lab, many of our patients achieve a dramatic new look in a relatively short amount of time. If you desire a more youthful appearance, a clear, bright smile can turn back the clock. Simple brushing and flossing daily, along with regular dental check-ups, can preserve your new smile for years to come.
